Sometimes we want to run websit on home PC, We maybe want to show profile, products and other content on home computer from anywhere, or we only need to download files, Like, say, your digital music collection. on this hand, KPCMS will set up a home CMS website that lets anyone connect to home computer and read articles, download MP3's from it, for a nice way to share music collection with friends, or play a song from home machine at the office for co-workers.

Below is a simple installation operation to run a website on home PC:

1. Downloading KPCMS from http://www.kpcms.com/downloads/kpcms-free-version

2. Click kpcms-free-setup.exe to running installation package, here is a screenshot.

3. Now there is a kpcms icon on windows status bar, click 'Start' menu will starting KPCMS server and open the home page.

Menu function list:

Start: To start KPCMS server

Stop: To stop KPCMS server

Home Page: Direct to home page

Admin Page: Director admin control panel

www.kpcms.com: KPCMS offical site

Document: KPCMS offical documents

Settings: Set server name and port number, default is localhost:80

Exit: Exit KPCMS monitor application, the KPCMS server is still running.

4. Change server settings.

Server name: default is localhost, you also can input a IP address as server name.

Port number: default is 80, but you can input any integer as server port number.
